Constructability Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Constructability Engineer to drive standards in the design and construction of data center infrastructure, ensuring safety and security while optimizing costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or a Construction related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in Construction
• 5+ years of data center technical knowledge coupled commissioning experience

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Global Constructability team, Design Engineering, and Construction Management teams
• Drive constructability and commissionability improvements in designs
• Optimize engineering input post design completion
• Act as the initial point of escalation for complex constructability issues
• 25% regional travel, sometimes unplanned
