Data Center BIM Specialist, Fleet Remediation Engineering

Job Description

The job is for a Lifecycle BIM Specialist focusing on data center design, BIM lifecycle management, and updating CAD drawings and BIM models for AWS Infrastructure Services.

Requirements

• 8+ years BIM/CAD experience in Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Building Design
• 5+ years Revit experience in large Mechanical/electrical projects
• 8+ years CAD experience in MEP Building Design
• 5+ years experience taking drawings from conceptual design through construction documents

Responsibilities

• Update CAD drawings, BIM models, and provide Lifecycle document control
• Facilitate updates of CAD drawings, BIM models, and provide Lifecycle documentation through vendors
• Assist data center AWS teams with access, content requests, and submittals for As-Built & Record Documentation
• Integrate all project discipline content to Lifecycle sets updating and modifying existing models and drawing sets as required
• Assist in development of automation using Lisp, Visual Basic, Dynamo, and other collaboration in a fast-paced environment to scheduled targets
• Manage the issuing and revisions of drawings & models, providing concurrent content through collaborative onsite validation
• Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations
