Job Description

The Sr. Ops Engineer Deployment & Ramp role in the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience organization at Amazon involves overseeing multiple products, programs, and projects to deploy MSP solutions, focusing on installation, commissioning, and performance ramp up.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Engineering or related STEM field
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure projects deployment and ramp
• 3+ years experience managing project portfolios and decentralized resources
• Experience working in a global environment
• Ability to travel frequently within country and occasionally internationally
• Experience in Robotics, Automation, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics
• Experience leading cross-functional teams/projects

Responsibilities

• Manage the development of project plans and technical solutions
• Influence decisions on deployment and machine performance execution strategy
• Own tactical planning on the installation of complex cross-functional projects
• Own the strategy of program/product for annual planning of resources and budget
• Own communication of program execution and performance
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program and product managers
