Job Description

Cummins is seeking a Marine Application Engineer to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves investigating and resolving issues, supporting process improvement, collaborating with experts, making informed decisions, building customer relationships, translating customer needs, ensuring correct application, and owning problem resolution for marine applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field required
• Experience in technical discipline area preferred
• Knowledge of MS Office tools preferred
• Local to the Great Lakes and Inland Waterways Region for frequent customer visits
• Strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills required
• Electrical and controls capability desired

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage technical content for product application support
• Solve product problems using structured processes
• Help customers select appropriate products and optimize specifications
• Translate stakeholder needs into verifiable system requirements
