Senior Mechanical Product Design Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Product Design Engineer to develop next generation electronic products supporting various business segments.

Requirements

• BSME minimum or equivalent experience
• 6+ years or more experience in product and mechanical design
• Experienced in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Excellent 3D CAD experience with software like Creo(ProE), Catia, Solidworks, Unigraphics
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use statistical tools and techniques
• Experience in manufacturing processes like casting, plastics, sheet metal, etc.
• Background in leading resources including consultants, component suppliers, and manufacturing partners

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the execution of product design individually or by leading a team
• Play a leading role in mechanical architecture definition and product development
• Prepare early design concepts and product architecture
• Drive all design aspects of mechanical systems like Structures, Displays, Acoustic, Battery, Antenna and Thermal Systems
• Research ground-breaking technologies, materials, and processes
• Collaborate with Industrial Design to invent groundbreaking products
