Senior System Performance and Power Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA Silicon Solutions Group is seeking a versatile engineer to be part of the HW ArchDev team, responsible for system level feature development and optimization.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in EE/CE or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of proven experience in silicon power architecture, system level design, validation, and power/performance optimization
• Strong EE fundamentals on digital design, low power design, DVFS, control systems, signal integrity, timing, and micro architecture
• Strong understanding of firmware/driver structures and HW/SW interaction
• Good to have hands-on lab experience with silicon bringup, lab debug, and lab tools
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Basic programming experience such as C/C++, Python, Perl in Windows/Linux environment

Responsibilities

• Build roadmaps of system level features for low power, low noise, perf/watt efficient product needs
• Architect, design, and integrate system level features, controllers, and policies to optimize product performance and power
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive architecture, design, and debug
• Keep track of industry direction, market needs, and technology development to incorporate into future roadmaps
• Lead debug, craft WARs, and support bringup, validation, manufacturing, and customer issues on relevant features
