Senior GPU Memory Architect

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior GPU Memory Architect to work on developing cutting-edge GPU memory systems and memory management solutions for various applications such as autonomous vehicles, AI, gaming, and mobile systems.

Requirements

• Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• 12+ years of work experience in GPU or CPU Architecture with a focus on memory caching and interconnects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and interns

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture and micro-architecture to enhance GPU memory system performance and efficiency
• Participate in performance simulation to improve memory access efficiency
• Analyze benchmarks and performance results to optimize microarchitecture
• Define experiments to study machine performance and propose improvements
• Create architectural specifications and customer-facing documents
• Collaborate with industry partners to develop specifications considering GPU software interfaces
• Debug performance issues using high-level models, RTL simulation, and silicon
