ASIC Design Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking an ASIC Design Engineer to join the Memory Subsystem Team, responsible for designing and implementing memory subsystems for Tegra SoCs, impacting various product lines from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS, PhD a plus)
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in logic design, Verilog/System-Verilog, Computer Architecture, and Digital Systems design
• Experience with multiple clock domains, asynchronous interfaces, low power design, and DRAM controllers
• Knowledge of ASIC design flow, Verilog/VHDL, C/PERL programming, board/system-level issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Micro-architecture and design implementation of Tegra SOC memory subsystem modules
• Collaborate with architects, software engineers, and circuit designers
• RTL design, synthesis, functional verification, timing analysis using CAD tools, latest process technologies
• Low power design/architecture, DRAM controller knowledge
• Complete ASIC design flow stages, board/system-level issues
• Programming in C/PERL, strong Verilog/VHDL knowledge
