Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Software Engineer, Data Applications to join the Autonomy org and collaborate with technical and business users.

Requirements

• Master’s in computer science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent in related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience leading projects from proof of concept to market launch
• 4+ yrs. of software engineering and full stack application development
• Experience with JavaScript/Typescript, Web Frameworks (preferably React), back-end languages like Python or Golang, and databases like MongoDB
• Experience with CSS, cross-browser compatibility, and Design System
• Experience with AWS Cloud

Responsibilities

• Partner with architects, product management, and engineers on requirements, architecture and design
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build user-friendly, immersive, reactive applications
• Drive new UX/UI ideas, communicate and document them
• Take the scale and performance of applications to the next level using in-house, open-source, and cloud tools and technologies
• Ensure high product quality by creating automated tests
• Build Full stack web applications, backend and RESTful APIs services, and User Interfaces
• Deploy Fullstack web applications using CI/CD Pipelines, Git, Kubernetes, and AWS Technologies
