Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a senior engineer to build Rivian's Gear Shop supporting the Accessories & Gears team.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Shopify Fullstack Developer
• Experiences with SEO optimization
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience, with 3+ years of building large scale enterprise grade systems
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technology field
• Software development experience in React, Node.js
• Cloud development experience with AWS, GCP or Azure

Responsibilities

• Develop custom Shopify themes using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, advanced CSS, Liquid templating, and metafields integration
• Develop custom Shopify Apps to integrate with Rivian's digital platform
• Ensure the feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimizing for performance, scalability, and responsiveness
• Develop and maintain reusable, well-documented code libraries
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, integrating innovative approaches into development workflows
• Participate in the end-to-end development process, from concept to deployment
• Contribute to unit and integration testing
