Cybersecurity Automation and Integration Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking an experienced Security Automation Engineer to develop and implement automated security solutions that enhance cybersecurity operations.

Requirements

• Strong programming background in object-oriented languages (Python, Go, Java, etc.) and SQL
• Proven experience with security tool development and integration
• Experience with security data engineering or working in a DevSecOps environment
• Experience with modern cybersecurity technologies and platforms
• Comprehensive knowledge of RESTful APIs and data integration techniques
• Strong familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated security solutions to streamline cybersecurity processes
• Design, configure, and integrate security tools with a focus on creating reusable, code-based solutions
• Proactively build and optimize scripts and applications to improve the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls
• Provide immediate support to maintain stability and efficiency of cybersecurity services
• Continuously assess and improve email and endpoint security measures
• Foster seamless integration and communication between cybersecurity tools and IT teams
• Conduct regular audits and refinements to security operations
