Engineering Manager

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Software Engineering to lead a talented team in our rapidly expanding Serbia office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience
• Experience working in a global or international environment is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers
• Establish and enforce best practices for software development
• Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to define project scope
• Contribute to the architectural design and implementation of scalable and reliable systems
• Manage project timelines, resources, and risks
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent
• Build strong relationships with other engineering teams and departments
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and tools
• Ensure that the team is following industry best practices
