Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their Commercial Technology Team in developing a world-class technology platform for their emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering industry experience
• Experience building and maintaining distributed systems at scale
• Proficiency with full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development
• Proficiency with AWS Lambdas or other serverless compute services
• Experience in building REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Great understanding of Web Accessibility
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Agile and SCRUM in the software development life cycle

Responsibilities

• Create client-side applications along the vehicle customer journey
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product designers
• Develop, unit test, and document performant code
• Define and help grow the end-to-end testing strategy and frameworks
• Mentor other engineers
