Job Description

Senior Sourcing Engineers in Brookfield, WI responsible for leading a global initiative to enhance visibility, lower lead times, and reduce costs in the electronics distribution network.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field
• 5 years of relevant experience as an Engineer or related; OR Master's or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field
• 2 years of relevant experience as an Engineer or related
• Experience in electronic component sourcing, PowerBI, Teamcenter, 8 bit and 32 bit microcontrollers, ASICs, analog power management, motion sensors, battery management, motor drive, power tools, li-ion batteries, supply chain operations, financial principles, negotiation
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Leader for global initiative to consolidate electronics distribution network
• Interface with component manufacturers, distribution channels, and PCBA contract manufacturers
• Execute purchasing responsibilities to maximize supply continuity and profitability
• Manage existing electronics supplier base and drive continuous improvement
• Support new product development by collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Search global electronics databases for spot buy opportunities
• Manage GES excel trackers and report critical shortages
• Travel to TTI manufacturing locations and supplier sites as required
