Sr Platform Engineer-Material Handling & Automation

Job Description

Seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Platform Engineer to drive the evolution of distribution center automation systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
• 5+ years of MHE Systems Troubleshooting.
• 5+ years of MHE Design.
• 5+ years of Operational Design.
• 5+ years of message integration experience.
• PLC Programming experience.
• Experience in DOO, FRD, FSD, and Detail Design processes.
• Experience with WCS implementations and integrations to WMS systems.
• Hands-on expertise in conveyor, sortation, and material handling technologies.
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and electrical panel diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Cognex and Keyence vision systems.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of automated systems.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert, troubleshooting complex issues.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting on automated systems.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Perform comprehensive reviews of MHE systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of project and production support activities.
