Senior Quality Engineers – Hand Tools

Job Description

Senior Quality Engineer position at Milwaukee Tool requiring expertise in manufacturing quality, process improvement, and statistical analysis.

Requirements

• Master’s or equivalent degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or related engineering field
• 2 years of relevant experience as an Engineer or related; OR Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or related engineering field
• 5 years of relevant experience as an Engineer or related
• Experience in Tool industries and in-house manufacturing processes
• Manufacturing quality experience in a regulated product field
• Knowledge of Critical to Quality/Quality Function Deployment, GD&T, SPC, Control Plans, FMEA, Metrology methods, and statistical tools
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically & internationally

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise procedures, instructions, and standards for new and existing products
• Perform process analysis and improvement on machines, equipment, and systems
• Conduct performance testing on production products
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers for process improvement
• Determine acceptance quality levels through sampling techniques
• Track project schedules and adherence to timelines
• Lead continuous improvement activities through statistical analysis
• Create corrective action plans and root cause analysis
• Provide guidance, expertise, and feedback to team members and manufacturing
• Lead and guide junior team members on projects and issues
