FPGA Design Engineer

Job Description

KLA is seeking a FPGA Programming Design Engineer to join their growing Ann Arbor team and contribute to the development of innovative product equipment, software, and AI algorithms.

Requirements

• Experience designing DSP and/or image processing datapath
• Experience in working with FPGAs
• Strong programming and scripting skills including MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Perl, Tcl
• Understanding of clock domain crossing (CDC) techniques
• Experience in EDA tools such as simulators and FPGA tools
• Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally as required

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of FPGA design flow
• Responsible for RTL design and verification
• Optimize FPGA designs for area, speed, and power
• Verify DSP/image processing blocks against Python/MATLAB models
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate the design into wafer Inspection tools
• Contribute to all phases of hardware development
