Job Description

KLA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Design to join their growing team in Ann Arbor.

Requirements

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
• 6+ years' relevant experience as a Printed Circuit Board Assembly Design Engineer
• Strong electrical engineering and physics fundamentals
• Proficiency in schematic entry and board layout
• Ability to work well in multi-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Develop high-speed PCBA-based product features
• Resolve engineering problems by characterizing components and PCB stackups
• Define test criteria and implement test plans on functional prototypes
• Propose and develop PCBA and subsystem qualification fixtures
• Collaborate with other groups to develop PCBA solutions
• Mentor and support junior staff
