Algorithm Engineer (Image Processing)

Job Description

KLA is looking for a research scientist to build new algorithms for innovative inspection products, working on image processing and optics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Image Processing or related field
• 1+ years' work experience in development in Image Processing
• Strong experience with C++ coding
• Experience prototyping Algorithms using MATLAB or Python
• Full stack hands-on experience with data and backend infrastructure
• Familiarity with Linear and Nonlinear Optimization techniques, CUDA/GPU Programming frameworks, and Data Analysis tools
• Great teammate with excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build new algorithms for innovative inspection products
• Drive creative ideas, implement proof of concepts, productize and evaluate new algorithms
• Support team members, collaborators, and customers with technical expertise
• Become an authority and indispensable within the KLA Algorithm team
