Product Design Engineer

Job Description

Product Development Engineer role at KLA focusing on next generation in-situ semiconductor process monitoring systems and improving current systems.

Requirements

• Master's Level Degree in STEM field with 3 years related work experience or Bachelor's Level Degree with 5 years related work experience
• Background in electronics or mechatronics engineering
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and statistical tools
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment & shifting priorities
• Ability to derive data-driven decision making
• Effective communication skills to all levels
• Basic scripting capability is a strong plus
• Familiarity with electrochemical systems testing is a strong plus
• Familiarity with 8D methodology is a plus
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is a plus

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of next-generation energy storage device
• Contribute to new product design, material selection, packaging structure development, and process development
• Conduct experiments to validate performance of new products
• Implement production of new products in the manufacturing line
• Participate in manufacturing yield and reliability improvement
• Support quality improvement and data analysis
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing and quality teams
• Identify root cause analysis of manufacturing excursions and implement continuous improvement projects
