Operations Engineer, Robotics

Job Description

As an Operations Engineer at Amazon, you will lead and manage cross-functional projects to develop and deliver automation and material handling solutions for the facility network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
• 4+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation
• Experience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems
• Experience working with design and installation planning for complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and/or systems
• Experience with project management tools, 2D and 3D CAD/CAE modeling tools
• Travel 30% - 80% domestically

Responsibilities

• Manage challenging cross-functional projects
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead system and equipment designs
• Coordinate execution efforts and installations
• Participate in engineering reviews
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives
• Communicate project status and risk analysis
