Job Description

The Global Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at Amazon is seeking an Early Life-cycle Manager (ELM) specialized in strengthening Base Building Qualification processes. This role involves managing projects and initiatives, leading quality inspections, supporting construction and launch execution teams, and integrating reliability maintenance engineering policies into launch plans.

Requirements

5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
Experience working with and managing third party vendors
Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
Demonstrable experience of project management and implementation
Experience within the areas of Greenfield infrastructure building and construction
Degree/Masters in a relevant subject area (Engineering/Project Management)

Responsibilities

Manage projects and initiatives, provide progress reports and KPIs
Lead installation and operation quality inspections and equipment commissioning
Lead continuous improvement for new buildings
Support construction and launch execution teams
Integrate RME policies into launch plans
Capture lessons-learned and develop/execute action plans
Specify and coordinate standards and deliverables for new equipment
Understand life cycle cost based on initial design
