Job Description

The Middle-Midle Transportation Technology team at Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to work on NP Hard problems/algorithms that save Amazon millions of dollars in freight movements. The ideal candidate will shape product direction, develop and tune algorithms, collaborate with stakeholders, and build scalable systems for a global transportation network.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design transportation solutions for various Amazon business verticals
• Build distributed systems prioritizing operator and customer experience
• Maintain high software standards through code quality and code reviews
• Mentor junior engineers in software design and development
