Job Description

Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) team is seeking an Engineering Manager passionate about building software for pricing and commitments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of designing or architecting of new and existing systems experience
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams

Responsibilities

• Drive price publication, price modeling, and distributed system development for AWS Savings Plans and EC2 Reserved Instances pricing catalog
• Optimize the software development experience at a large scale in a cloud-based computing environment
• Deliver customer-facing solutions
• Lead a team with a focus on excellence and clear communication
