Engineering Operations Technician

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking talented individuals to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

Requirements

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent industry
• 1+ years' experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and recording information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning
• Performing PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment
• Technical writing to support change management program
• Monitoring daily work requests and managing to resolution
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Working in physical conditions with reasonable accommodations
• Maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting mission-critical data center facility equipment
