Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. As a PIT RF Communications System Payload Integration and Test Engineer, you will work on designing and testing innovative product solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or 5+ years of RF, satellite, aerospace, or related industry experience.
• 5+ years in RF design and/or verification with launched products.

Responsibilities

• Working within a project team for a low earth orbit communications satellite constellation.
• Deep-diving into component and subsystem designs to document expectations, evaluate tests, and provide feedback.
• Collaborating with technical teams, validating expectations, and integrating the RF communications system.
• Defining test plans and procedures for lab and RF chamber testing.
• Analyzing and mitigating potential system interference issues.
• Configuring test equipment for automated operation and interpreting test results.
• Documenting test results, test coverage, and KPI metrics.
