Embedded Software Development Engineer (SDE) II, Dash Cart Firmware & System Interfaces

Job Description

Amazon is seeking an experienced embedded SDE to join the team working on the Amazon Dash Cart, a smart shopping cart utilizing computer vision and advanced machine learning technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++

Responsibilities

• Developing Linux drivers for advanced sensors on the Dash Cart
• Implementing APIs and services in Linux for interfacing with devices
• Writing low-level firmware for microcontrollers and other devices on the cart
• Implementing secure applications for over-the-air programming of devices
