Job Description

As an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Design Engineer at Amazon, you will work on designing and deploying ICT infrastructure for Amazon Physical Stores, including those with Just Walk Out (JWO) Technology.

Requirements

• BICSI RCDD Certification or internationally recognized equivalent
• 5+ years Information and Communications Technology (ICT) design experience
• 5+ years of working experience with fiber optic components, cabling, and interconnect products, technologies, and standards
• 5+ years of experience developing design documentation for construction and/or permitting
• 3+ Years experience in Revit

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams to coordinate design and deployment of IoT devices and ICT infrastructure
• Review and approve ICT product data submittals
• Develop and revise ICT BODs, SOPs, and Construction Specifications
• Work with BIM teams to create and revise design drawing details
• Analyze, optimize, troubleshoot, and improve Wi-Fi network designs
• Write technical documents and present proposals to executive leadership
• Develop and manage Global ICT Product equipment lists, pricing, and lead times
• Provide RFP, SOW, and Bid Templates to ICT design consultants and LVC
• Manage ICT design consultants and LVC Contractors
• Identify and respond to risks and high-priority issues
• Support new technology development and design activities
• Travel 25%+ to review projects and coordinate with onsite personnel and contractors
• Offer creative out-of-the-box solutions
