Job Description

Seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Telemetry Engineering team at Amazon to design and build self-healing solutions for global delivery infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of systems for network disruptions through self-healing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate telemetry solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of engineering excellence
• Participate in critical architectural decisions and define technical roadmap
• Invent solutions to complex problems and ensure telemetry systems remain robust
