System Development Engineer II, Network Device Lifecycle Management

Job Description

Amazon Operations Technology is looking for an experienced System Development Engineer to join our Imperium Network Device Lifecycle Management team in Austin.

Requirements

• 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Responsibilities

• Create new and enhance existing frameworks for managing network devices' lifecycle at Amazon fulfillment centers
• Develop critical frameworks to make it faster and easier for customers to manage network devices at scale
• Think big and drive efficient and scalable solutions
• Create OS agnostic services and tools, optimizing for performance and ease of use by customers
