Software Development Engineer, AWS Security Assurance Engineering

Job Description

The AWS Security Assurance Engineering team is responsible for scaling AWS's ability to exceed the security and compliance expectations of our regulators, auditors, and customers globally by designing and building services that meet high security standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Build and own internal services that identify and monitor security/compliance-relevant attributes of key infrastructure
• Scale security and compliance assessments of AWS services
• Expand the ability to continuously monitor key security functions
• Solve complex engineering and business problems
• Interact with business partners to automate business outcomes
• Learn and develop skills in business intelligence and data handling/processing
