Innovation and Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

Job Description

Design next-generation fulfillment centers and logistics systems worldwide with a high level of ownership, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field OR 5+ years Amazon experience
• 2+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) design projects
• Proficiency in software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal and external teams to design cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems
• Manage multiple projects from concept to design approval
• Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers
• Collaborate with Ops Engineering team for project installation and commissioning
• Ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of designed systems
