Dynamics Test Engineer - 2nd Shift, Project Kuiper

Job Description

Project Kuiper is seeking a Test Engineer to support the development and production testing of satellites, with a focus on dynamics testing.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, or equivalent
• 2+ years hands-on environmental test experience, vibration, shock, acoustic in compliance with MIL-STD-810, SMC-S-016, or MIL-STD-1540
• 2+ years working with Data Acquisition systems

Responsibilities

• Operating test consoles and working with engineering and technician teams to conduct dynamic testing
• Reviewing test plans and writing work instructions for technicians
• Analyzing post-test data and writing test reports for non-compliant events
• Performing root cause analysis for failures
• Ensuring safe working conditions and writing Job Hazard Analyses
• Leading process and lab improvement projects
