Job Description

AWS Data Platform is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join our team. The team works on scalability, performance, distributed computing challenges, processing big data, and building data portals for customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design, create, manage, and use large datasets across various data platforms
• Work with business owners to understand data requirements
• Design, implement, and operate stable, scalable, low-cost data flow solutions
• Process billions of line items via map reduce and manage artifacts using database technologies
• Build next-generation data portal for customer data management
