Software Development Engineer, Physical Store Advertising

Job Description

Amazon is investing in building a world-class advertising business at the intersection of retail and advertising, focusing on physical stores advertising products for customers of Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon Go.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#

Responsibilities

• Deal with mostly JVM-based backend services
• Develop React/JavaScript single-page applications
• Implement and integrate new advertising products for physical stores
• Utilize cloud technology to build products supporting custom experiences
