Operations Engineer, GES NA Ops Engineering

Job Description

GES NA Operations Engineering is seeking Operations Engineers to tackle systemic engineering challenges within First and Middle Mile Operations at Amazon.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations engineering, manufacturing engineering, or project engineering in a manufacturing environment
• 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at an intermediate level
• Experience working with and managing third-party vendors

Responsibilities

• Develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate cost-effective solutions
• Manage multiple projects and tasks while communicating effectively with stakeholders
• Execute the vision, roadmap, and technical solutions
• Require 50% regional travel
