Job Description

The Generator Service Technician role at Amazon Web Services involves identifying, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and providing quality repairs of electrical generator systems and related engine mechanical failures within data center operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working on electrical generator systems
• DOT Medical Card
• Qualify and Maintain DOT certification

Responsibilities

• Know and follow all Company safety rules
• Respond to customer requests
• Perform professional quality field service repairs
• Advise the Generator Service Manager of necessary repairs
• Document detailed descriptions of repair operations performed
• Accurately record time, expenses, and mileage
• Travel to designated sites and work overtime when necessary
• Lift up to 40 lbs frequently; wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
