Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to support US Government customers in the Northern Virginia / DC Metro area, with a focus on the Intelligence Community. The role involves collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to provide technical expertise and solutions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of specific technology domain areas experience
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences at C-level
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps
• 10+ years of design, implementation, software development or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS
• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community
• Build relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support
