Sr. Hardware Development Engineer/Signal Integrity, AWS Board Core Design and Services Team

Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is seeking talented individuals to work on designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.

Requirements

• BS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in embedded ARM, FPGA, and CPLD applications
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with high-speed PCB design
• Strong proficiency in PCB design tools with ability to perform detailed PCB reviews
• Experience in high-speed interface design with emphasis on signal integrity
• Proven track record in impedance control, stack-up design, and power integrity optimization
• Experience in board root cause analysis and resolution
• Experience with flash, I2C, SPI, UART, and ethernet interfaces

Responsibilities

• Own next-generation server components with focus on digital circuit board design and signal integrity
• Architecture and development of high-speed, complex PCB designs for server components
• Interact with interdisciplinary team to design, develop, validate, and launch at large scale
