Job Description

Join the Last Mile Delivery Technology team at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer to contribute to the next generation mobile foundation empowering engineers to build and ship new features.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of AWS cloud-native development utilizing CDK or other similar Infrastructure-as-Code libraries
• Expertise with React, React-tangential libraries, HTML, CSS, and ECMAScript14
• Expertise with Java and common Java libraries (eg Spring)
• Experience with React state management libraries (eg Redux)
• Understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and internationalization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication and collaboration skills
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Contribute to shaping and building products for Last Mile Delivery Technology team
• Collaborate with world-class engineers to deliver impactful projects and improvements
• Own the communication platform enabling successful deliveries
• Enable driver engagement and avenues for feedback
• Own end-to-end experience for communication channels like calling, texting, targeted content, and push notifications
