Embedded Sr. Software Development Engineer, Hardware Compute Group

Job Description

Looking for a Sr Embedded Software Development Engineer to help design, develop, and integrate next-generation devices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++
• Experience writing low-level drivers
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C code
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in the Kernel drivers, BSP, and integration with OS frameworks
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to problems found in the product integration and field
• Develop and implement a wide range of low-level embedded software
• Develop and customize BSP, graphics, and port
• Develop, port, and test software and firmware layers inside the Linux Kernel and frameworks
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members
• Participate in code and design reviews
