Sr HW Test Engineer, Amazon Robotics Hardware Test

Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a motivated and hands on Test Engineer to join the hardware test engineering team. The role involves working with program teams and development engineering to create test strategies, inform development, and verify requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures
• Experience working in new technology or product development
• Experience in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Design experience of simple parts, assemblies, and fixtures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Electro-Mechanical systems
• Ability and desire to work hands-on in lab environments

Responsibilities

• Work with program teams and development engineering to create test strategies
• Inform development and verify requirements
• Improve existing test methodologies and create new techniques
• Develop new fixtures and equipment
• Ensure safe, high quality, and robust solutions are delivered on time
