Sr. System Development Engineer, Storage Systems Team

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking talented individuals to join the team responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring continual access to innovation for customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby experience
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
• 5+ years of Linux Storage experience and experience building, installing and debugging storage device drivers

Responsibilities

• Authoring requirements specifications, system design, and development
• Software test development and integration for storage hardware
• System debugging for production hosts
• Lead the Hardware Engineering (HWEng) System Development (SysDE) effort
