Senior Data Engineer, Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations

Job Description

Seeking a senior data leader to define the data infrastructure and analytics strategy for Kuiper’s commercial revenue operations (CRO) in Project Kuiper.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Experience mentoring team members on best practices
• Experience with AWS tech stack

Responsibilities

• Develop data products, infrastructure, and data pipelines leveraging AWS services
• Build BI solutions and define the BizOps team's BI strategy
• Provide robust BI solutions for complex problems that are extensible and scalable
• Communicate effectively with senior management audiences
• Refine data strategies that cut across functional teams and make technical trade-off decisions
• Design data pipelines and implement appropriate security, permissions, and access control models
• Support BizOps leaders and teams in ingesting data, analysis, dashboards, business review metrics, and other analytical insights as required
• Capture and analyze process insights to drive strategic shifts in product offering, service plans and pricing
• Drive best practices in operational excellence, data modeling, and analysis
• Participate in hiring activities and mentor junior team members
