Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is looking for a Network Development Engineer to join their global infrastructure operations and support the next-generation networking products deployed to AWS Datacenters worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field
• 4+ years professional experience in large-scale networking environments with internet routing protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF
• 4+ years experience in developing engineering, deployment, or operations mechanisms to support IP network and/or networking systems
• 1+ years of experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality network and/or systems operations, deployments, scaling, technology refresh, best practices application, optimization, internal/external customer interactions, and produce technical documentation
• Lead network projects in the areas of network sustaining engineering, deployment/implementation, scaling, technology refresh, best practices application, and/or optimization
• Operate and troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configurations issues
• Drive and support innovation from Top of Rack to the Network Border and everything in between
• Collaborate with highest tier escalation engineers/resolvers and create/review documentation and processes regarding network implementation/deployments
