Software Development Engineer, EC2 Nitro

Job Description

The EC2 Server Provisioning team at AWS is responsible for turning new servers into EC2 virtualized hosts running customer workloads globally.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle of software development including requirements, system design, implementation, testing, monitoring, support, alarming, and reporting
• Working closely with EC2 Principal Engineers and technical leaders
• Owning software end-to-end from requirements gathering to operations
• Mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement
