Mechanical Engineer, Amazon Robotics (AR)

Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop hardware designs for robotic systems and enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• SolidWorks or similar CAD experience
• Hands-on experience crafting proof-of-concept models and prototypes
• Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Ability to effectively communicate concepts and write technical documents
• Experience with full lifecycle and completing tasks to meet milestones
• Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management PLM software

Responsibilities

• Execute product designs from concept to production
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for product design and development
• Write requirements, specifications, and test procedures
• Design holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for automation solutions
