Mechanical Engineer, Amazon Robotics (AR)

Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop innovative hardware designs for robotic systems.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in the design of electro-mechanical systems
• Hands-on experience with proof-of-concept models and prototypes
• Thorough understanding of engineering principles in mechanical engineering
• Ability to communicate concepts and write technical documents
• Experience with full lifecycle tasks and meeting milestones
• Experience evaluating design, performance, and logistical tradeoffs for hardware systems

Responsibilities

• Execute product designs from concept to production
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for product development
• Write requirements, specifications, and test procedures
• Lead cross-functional automation of experiments
• Work with various departments and vendors for product launch and sustaining efforts
