Job Description

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Engineering Operations Technician to work in state-of-the-art data centers and help maintain critical infrastructure systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or 1+ years of electrical/mechanical/HVAC/fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or relevant industry
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years' experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Perform daily building rounds to monitor and record information from critical equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of facility and rack-level events
• Conduct rack installs and decommissioning
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Monitor and manage daily work requests, execute projects from start to finish
• Provide on-site support for contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Work in shifts up to 12 hours, may include on-call rotations
• Support more than one location/site
