Job Description

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) in their Data Center Engineering Operations team to maintain and operate critical infrastructure systems in some of the most sophisticated data centers globally.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent experience in a relevant industry
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Executing projects from conception to completion
• Supporting contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors on-site to ensure work compliance with established practices and local legislation
